Rolex Explorer model 14270 Excellent condition 1999 production. Most collectible Explorer with Single "Swiss" dial. Explorer has its beginning back in 1953 with a ground-breaking expedition to the Mt. Everest. Earlie Explorer models were provided by Rolex for testing during expedition that Sir Edmund Hillary conquer Mt. Everest in 1953. The "Explorer" branding was registered in Geneva earlier that same year and the watches were created specifically for this Summit bid. Watch is equipped with movement Calibre 3000, and it comes with sporty Oyster bracelet 78790. Watch is waterproof up to 330 ft.
