Description
Rolex Oysterquartz Datejust model 17000 in unpolished condition. Watch was worn handful time. After a long period of research and development, Rolex introduced the Oysterquartz model in 1977, with its inaugural in-house quartz movement. The Caliber 5035, as featured in this present example, has a date function, while the Caliber 5055 had a day-date indicator. On the outside, the thick tonneau case is very much in line with the aesthetics of the 1970s. Watch has tiny blemish on the clasp.
