Description
Rolex Oysterquartz Datejust model 17013 in mint condition. After a long period of research and development, Rolex introduced the Oysterquartz model in 1977, with its inaugural in-house quartz movement. The Caliber 5035, as featured in this present example, has a date function, while the Caliber 5055 had a day-date indicator. On the outside, the thick tonneau case is very much in line with the aesthetics of the 1970s. Another interesting detail of this model is the integrated steel and gold bracelet with two satin-finished gold center links, something only found on this specific Oysterquartz model.
